1,500 children receive weekly food
380 indigenous children in 3 regions
95 elderly assisted in 2 cities
The Food Bank Project provides support to social programs of some 25 churches throughout Venezuela. These ministries are responsible for feeding, evangelizing and discipling children, homeless adults and elderly in nursing homes. So far they have been sustained thanks to self-management and donations from parishioners. Due to the increase in needs, help is requested from international friends to continue providing this weekly assistance.
The programs assist various groups. Fifteen children's ministries feed about 1,500 children in various cities each week. They also provide classes and food to 380 indigenous children from three regions. Other activities include the delivery of food and evangelistic work for 95 elderly in two cities, as well as the provision of food for homeless people, hospitals and prisons in two major cities in the country. All this is done with the aim of continuing the work of Jesus with the support of donors.
Join to continue feeding hundreds of children. Every donation brings hope to those in greatest need.
